ATO GST tool - update to be provided prior to Christmas
Dear Colleagues,
It was terrific to see so many of you at our online Forum 2021 and I attach a Forum Report with presentation slides and notes from many of the sessions - here
As with previous Forums, sessions for newly appointed College Heads and for the Deans & Deputies were well attended. UCA documents, to which we referred at the session for New Heads, may also be of interest to our Members and can be found - here
Additionally, we were delighted that James Hardiman was able to officially launch UCA's Deans & Deputies Network. This initiative will provide a much needed opportunity to formally engage Deans & Deputies through the UCA network to drive professional development, encourage sharing of best practice and provide an opportunity for peer support across our national network of colleges and residential halls.
Our Forum concluded with our General Meeting at which I highlighted the seven months of UCA activities since our AGM of April. Read my President's report - here
Finally, and as noted in my Report, I say farewell and thank Deborah Pugh, our Executive Officer, who retires after 10 years of service to UCA. I am pleased to advise that Alana Chambers will step into this role and can be contacted from hereon at the existing email address - executiveofficer@universitycollegesaustralia.edu.au
As we come to the end of 2021, please note that I shall forward you a separate update following our conversation with the ATO regarding the GST tool. I'll provide this update to you before Christmas.
I wish you all the best for a brighter 2022. Whilst our series of monthly events, including our Members' professional development series and our 'Conversations with Colleagues' is now complete for 2021, I look forward to seeing you all when we reconvene online in March 2022.
